WAVC is a set of wavelet-based video compression algorithms developed by CWAIP, combining advanced wavelet technology and powerful motion estimation/compensation algorithms, WAVC is a high-fidelity and high compression ratio video codec.

The features of WAVC driver are

1. It is VFW driver. It can be used for any application supported VFW.
   
2. You can choose bitrate as you like.
   
3. Key frame rate can be set by user. Key frame rate equals 1 means compressing all frames as still images.
